Lisa, this is my first time reading your Substack and I am looking forward to reading more. I recently took a free writer's Dictation Bootcamp from author Sarah Elisabeth Sawyer (fictioncourses.com) and it gave me hope for being able to continue writing even though the arthritis in my fingers is getting worse. Here is the link to her website if you're interested. https://www.fictioncourses.com/

Oh dear Lisa, once again you are such an inspiration to me. Just this year I have changed also, and cannot type on a keyboard any longer because of joint deformities. I'm so thankful for a phone keypad that lets me peck out one letter at a time. You are in my prayers dear sister. May God give you strength to keep finding ways to share your beautiful stories of His grace in your life.

Lisa, this was an interesting look back in time. Especially signing checks with the right pen. I am forever grateful that I was taught to type in high school and was ecstatic when we got a new s electric that you could change fonts on and it had an x key to erase! It was heaven!

Thanks for your comment. I once borrowed an electric typewriter from a friend, but never came across one that had fonts that could be changed.

Wow. What a miracle your stories truly are reading this Lisa. Thank you so much for persevering in obedience. Your stories have been so instrumental in God's healing of my heart and leading me home into His love. Just when I needed it most, your stories would speak compassion into my deepest gashes, shining God's healing light of truth and grace upon them. Now may Jesus blow His empowering grace out upon you by His Holy Spirit bringing His divine will to fruition and your book published to His glory and grace. May He surprise you in the ways He surpplies that grace and make you laugh in delight. Much much love across the ocean.
